**Responsibilities :**

* Pick up, transport and drop off residents at locations on our 130 acre Campus, drive them to appointments and functions off campus within the Metro area.

* Assist residents in and out of the vehicle while also loading and unloading any wheelchairs, walkers or other equipment the resident brings with them.

* Pays close attention to driving laws, safety regulations, signs and policies at all times.

* Clean and thoroughly checks vehicles before shift and when shift is completed.

* Receives and follows maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.

* Communicates with passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.

**Requirements:**

* Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement.

* Must have the ability to communicate well with other associates, residents, family members, visitors, and general public.

* Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

* Must possess and maintain an excellent driving record.

* Must comply with and possess Federal Department of Transportation Physical Card by passing required physical examination as scheduled.

* Must be able to assist elderly persons into and out of vehicles and wheelchairs.
