The role reports to the Sales Support Supervisor and is located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales organization and customers for the NEMA products. The Sales Support Specialist will support business growth through technical support to customers, sales units and other ABB divisions during the pre-and post-sale stages.

**Your responsibilities**

* Answer plant, engineering, district office and customer calls and emails tied to orders, general and technical product related question and system issues.

* Setup and facilitate expedited orders, hot shot shipments and product inspections in coordination with the appropriate department.

* Assist with country specific efficiency requirements and export documents.

* Communicate product design changes to customers and district office for spec on file product.

* Create quotes for international sales units or other divisions.

* Lead/facilitate customer calls, setup and run pre-call for data collection between all departments needed to finalize customer request.

* Perform general spec review and work with ATS to complete.

* Process new vendor and customer setup/reactivations and maintain current vendor data.

* Review and approve credits related to customer orders, warranties/concessions and the ABB services warranty system.

* Work with intercompany departments to resolve customer related order challenges and issues.

* Process international shipments and address other international logistics challenges.

* Review and correct cash in time challenges and order in queue in OMS.

* Complete order entry for certain territories, divisions and certain corporate accounts.

* Coordinate of all aspects of OEM Support.

* Coordinate various aspects of the sales order on behalf of the local sales unit.

**Your background**

* Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma / GED AND 2 years sales support / customer Service experience OR

* Associate's degree OR Bachelors Degree.

* Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

* Preferred Qualifications:

* NEMA or electrical motor product background.

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power BI, Power Point and Excel.

* Working knowledge of SAP, OMS, VIP4, Salesforce, and other companys electronic tools.

* Able to handle multiple tasks.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with others.

* Self-motivated, detail oriented, with an ardent desire to learn new things.

* Understand manufacturing concepts, processes and Flex-Flow and Lean concepts.

* Understand international laws, trade compliance, US export, incoterms and exchange rates.

* Understand ABB intercompany/international trade and routing practices.
