Job Description
SLP Position in West Virginia for School Setting
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in Speech Pathology/munication Sciences and Disorders and hold a West Virginia speech-language pathology license
Experience working in a school setting, with students of all ages, is preferred
Excellent munication, organizational, problem-solving and evaluation skills as well as an ability to multi-task and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills and knowledge of technological developments in munication disorders
Maintain timely and accurate records and reports
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to students with language and speech impairments
Design and implement individualized education plans for the students in collaboration with other school personnel
Instruct patients and families on how to facilitate munication
Actively participate in meetings and in-service education programs
Discuss and remend effective treatment plans
Serve on special mittees and advisory boards as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
