Job Title: Virtual School Psychologist (Contractor)

Employment Type: 1099 Contracting Position

VocoVision, a leading provider of teletherapy services, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual School Psychologist to join our team. As a contractor in this role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, providing crucial support and guidance to students in Virginia.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate students' strengths and areas for growth in academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions to support student success.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students, addressing a range of mental health concerns and promoting positive coping strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed, ensuring ongoing support and progress towards goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or providing teletherapy services preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using technology for virtual assessments and teletherapy sessions.
  • Must pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of Zoom)
