JOB SUMMARY The Computer Science and Engineering Department sponsors a unique Natural Language Processing Professional Master's Degree Program at the Silicon Valley Campus. The field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) develops theories and computational models of natural language data. The field has grown exponentially in the last twenty years. It has become more central to computing and provides key capabilities for many applications of artificial intelligence. The M.S. program in Natural Language Processing provides deep technical background to students through coursework and a three-quarter capstone project. APPOINTMENT INFORMATION Budgeted Salary: $37.20 - $40.95/hour. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience. Integrate LLMs through Amazon Bedrock. Implement streaming, containerization, and quantization for locally deployed LLMs (such as Lamba2). 40% - Develop and Analyze Develop, evaluate, and analyze prompts for educational tasks, daily queries, and student support. Gather and analyze research data and results from real world, experimental and simulated dialogs. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience and / or training. Working knowledge of prompt development, QA and dialog response generation with LLMs. Working skills in python development and cloud-based system deployment. Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing. Ability to work as an effective member of a team. Good interpersonal skills.
