Leveraging product knowledge and experience, direct a wide range of resources as needed to identify or resolve complex multi system issues.   Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices to recommend process or technology changes for the applications in the group's portfolio.  Research potential changes, analyze options and implement selected items. Audit results for efficiency, improved quality, or speed.  Mentor and train team members on applications or system complexities including delivery of function at the enterprise level. Production Support Ensure delivery of pertinent status communication on issues, requests, problems, or other items to all parties as appropriate. Coordinate clear and concise communication of status for escalations, including senior leaders. Monitor or audit SLA compliance. For area of work, recommend corrective actions or CI initiatives as appropriate.  Triage complex technical issues across multiple domains. Direct cross technical team members on overall handling of escalated issues, including triage of complex technical issues across a range of applications or systems. Ensure critical processes are identified and proactively managed. Mentor and train team members using multiple systems or application technical expertise and knowledge.  Identify impacts of planned application maintenance, including highly complex multi-system outages.  Ensure overall coverage for the event/s including appropriate communication to all levels of the organization.Project Delivery Create overall technical architecture for large, complex projects. Ensure alignment with VS&Co SOP and enterprise architecture. May lead overall delivery of complex technical solutions or solutions for multiple programs simultaneously.Monitor or facilitate status communication and reporting for all initiatives in the work area. Partner with PM or designated Leads.  Drive awareness of status, opportunities, risks, and issues of project with all parties, including Senior VS&Co. leadership.Paricipate and provide input on vender engagement lifecycle, including RFI/RFP evaluations, contract development and review and termination of services. Oversight and or manage complex project test environments in partnership with TCOE, QA or other Leads, including vendor contacts.  Ensure instances are allocated and setup appropriately. Provide review and signoff of technical requirements for complex cross-functional projects/programs.Project Initiation Identify timeline considerations including key assumptions and constraints in partnership with PM and other leads.    Facilitate translation of functional requirements to high level technical scope and design.  Create supporting technical documents, provide development estimates, initial risk and mitigation recommendations.   Recommend options with supporting material or data points including presentations.   Connect with retail industry standards, or similar best practices.Solution design and development Coordinate delivery of   technical design, configuration, and scope summaries, incl. architecture for enhancements or projects. Lead review sessions to ensure technical work is aligned functional design Ensure end product to be delivered includes requested business function and with VS&Co SOP architecture. Utilize and refine design principles established for applications to ensure end product delivered has the requested function.   Summarize and present material for a variety of audiences including Senior leaders.  Clearly articulate benefits, challenges and capabilities of a functional design or recommended solution. Include use of delivered functionality vs. custom solutions.Review and validate in partnership with TCOE the test data plan.  Document impacts to adjoining systems, including alignment reviews as needed. Recommend solutions to mitigate impacts.Solution ImplementationLead issue resolution, gap analysis, risk or other review sessions with identified groups, internal or external. Ensure end product to be delivered includes requested business function and is aligned with VS&Co SOP architecture. Support controlled start planning in partnership with PM and other Leads. Ensure identification of all tasks, impacted teams, vendor activities, incl. key assumptions and constraints, upstream and downstream impacts. Accountable for ensuring all tasks identified and applied prior to finalizing initial schedule.  Define and present options for highly complex or unique data conversions. Document strategy and requirements. Ensure data mapping and scripting. Create and present conversion status summaries. Identify option and present for highly complex or unique situations requiring contingency planning. Document strategy and requirements. Create and present contingency options to identified user and technology groups for alignment.   In partnership with Business Readiness leads, plan and initiate in 5C or similar reviews as appropriate to role on project. Recommend utilization of technology to bridge gaps where applicable. Lead planning and transition from project implementation to support (MO). Identify impacted items or areas and plan accordingly.Testing and Training coordination  Provide input and consultation on all aspects of test planning and execution, including, data preparation, traceability, environment setup, test scenario, script, and solution validations.   Identify and communicate changes, including regression test impacts or special tests for adjoining or interdependent systems. Validate impacts to adjoining systems, internal or external, are documented and mitigations recommended.  Lead Triage of complex issues crossing multiple systems or vendor products and recommend solutions.  Minimum Salary: $118,500.00Maximum Salary: $161,700.00VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.QualificationsYour Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in information technology 7-10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure technology Understands annual HR business cycles and how to set up HCM configurations.  Experience with large organizations (>10;000 employees)  Experience with a retail organization desired.  Oracle HCM Could Experience - Core HR; Compensation; Talent Management; BenefitsKronos Workforce Dimensions and Workforce Management experience Ability to translate requirement and functional specification documentation into technical specifications.Query writing and execution; data validation and analysis. Experience leading functional reviews with business partners; including facilitation; problem negotiation; and mediation. Understands both waterfall software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
