DescriptionIdaho National Laboratory is hiring a Manager of End User Experience to work in our Information Technology department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Willow Creek Building in Idaho Falls, Idaho with every other Friday off. Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.You will report to the Infrastructure and Operation Group Director and will provide leadership supporting INL-wide architectural standards and approaches, development of lab-wide workstation deployments and upgrades, oversight for lab wide vulnerability management on desktops, laptops, tablets, and network devices all to support a risk-based cyber security approach to enable end-users, vendors, subcontractors, and foreign nationals to complete the work they have to do.Responsibilities Include:Manage the projects of the Operations staff, providing a high level of service to our internal and external customers (desktop, mobile, access management, vulnerability management) along with support services and computer technology components to meet the operating needs of the INL. Manage vendors and service providers, annual and monthly budgets. Meet annual and monthly metric targets, recommend and implement cost-savings opportunities.Design and implement a Vulnerability Management process for INL that includes mitigating controls and triage activities, with Cyber Security, to maintain a safe and secure infrastructure. Understand the lab's use of it's SIEMs tool and malware detection from an IDS and IPD perspective. Ensure that all IT systems are managed to the vulnerability policies requirements and improve this process to keep the lab safe from nefarious intrusions.Architect processes to support multifactor authentication and move the lab into the next phases of ICAMs. This includes technical expertise with LDAP technologies and lab policies dictating appropriate access to computer system. Deploy role-based authentication and ensure group policies are defined for all computer systems that connect to the labs domain. Advise senior management and other team members on any issues with system security and protection.Strategize system requirements and processes that support the labs mission and agenda and that these areas comply and are applicable with contractual requirements. Manage upgrades, projects, and tasks to a successful, cost-effective conclusionWork with Infrastructure director and cyber security to ensure that desktop experience, mobile experience, vulnerability management, and access management is secure and compatible with technology developments and potential threats. Implement and administer appropriate control processes to ensure administrative, technical, physical, personnel safeguards and procedures are maintained for the INL general access enclave.
