Sr. Cost Analyst - TS/SCI

Title:Sr. Cost Analyst - TS/SCIKBR is seeking a highly motivated Senior Cost Analyst to provide knowledge and expertise applying principles, theories and methods of cost estimation and analysis in support of our government customers.  A TS/SCI clearance is required.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 11-16 years experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplineMinimum 10 years of DoD, IC or industry cost analysis experienceApply principles, theories and methods of cost estimation to complex Government acquisitionsDevelop cost estimating relationships through the application of advanced statistical analysis techniquesDevelop models/methods for space systems and their associated ground and launch systems across multiple space-related product linesAbility to collect and normalize data and design cost estimating methods and modelsDevelop life-cycle cost estimates using a variety of methods (e.g. parametric, analogy, etc)Experience leading life-cycle cost estimates for major system acquisitionsAbility to identify key cost and technical risk areas, and translate the risk areas into program cost impactsProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelProficient with the application of Monte Carlo simulation techniquesExcellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leadershipAbility to work independently and lead detail-oriented tasksDesired Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplinesCost estimating experience in the following domain areas:Space hardware (bus and payload)Space systems (e.g. NASA/Air Force, NRO, Commercial)Launch systemsGround systems (e.g. mission management, command and control, mission processing, ground terminals, communications networks, data centers)Software cost estimatingParametric and analogy based estimatingData collection and normalizationModel developmentMethod development (e.g. multivariate regression analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, cost improvement curve analysis)Technical understanding of satellite systemsExperience using risk analysis software (e.g. @Risk, Crystal Ball)Experience using statistical analysis software (e.g. SAS, SPSS, etc)ICEAA certification; either Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA)Preferred Security Requirements:Possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility; active TS/SCI is preferred​Basic Compensation: $152,000.00 - $198,000.00The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
