Job Description SummaryAs part of the GE Aviation Digital Workplace team, the Senior Manager for Systems Administration M365 will support the separation of GE Aviation into an independent, investor-grade company by managing the teams who will be responsible for overall performance and availability of the M365 enterprise cloud services and environment.This is a temporary role that will support the separation of GE Aerospace into an independent, investor-grade company.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities• Must have a solid understanding of the suite's technical aspects and be able to handle its various modules with ease, including SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive.• key point of contact for the Digital Workplace function and must be able to quickly identify and troubleshoot technical problems, with a focus on maximizing uptime and minimizing disruption•Will managing projects to ensure that all aspects of the implementation and ongoing operations of M365 are delivered effectively and within budget• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex technical issues affecting small to large scale impacts to the M365 Tenant and its Productivity Suite (Office365, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.• Has experience with change management principles and methodology to ensure that they can effectively handle changes to M365 user configurations, data retention, and upgrades• Needs to have strong team management skills to ensure that their staff is motivated, trained on new features and functions, and that they work efficiently to manage and support end-users• the Senior Manager will work with the Aerospace Cyber organization to ensure the M365 environment is correctly configured to protect against security risks.• Work in unstructured situations and establish engagement points to drive adoption to new edge technologies and deployments• Work across functional business teams to gather requirements in current and future states• Build partnerships with Digital Workplace, Separation, and appropriate DT organizations to rally teams around vision, strategy, analysis, requirements, selection, and lifecycle of GE Aviation's Secure Collaboration product suite.• Support portfolio-level capabilities and feature sets from a diverse end user stakeholder group across Commercial, Military and Engineering divisions•integrate plans in accordance with expected timeframes given within DT Roadmaps• Build progress plans and Report and selection out to Aviation Senior Leadership as well as partnered teamsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 9 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 11 years of professional experienceMinimum 7 years of professional experience Managing teams within a cloud services and support organizationNote: Military experience is equivalent to professional experienceDesired CharacteristicsShould be able to present strategy and roadmap at functional and DT senior executive levels.Ability to bring external thinking into team. Engage frequently with users, GE Aerospace DT, GE Corporate DT and external partners; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, contribute to design activities and decisions, demonstrate understanding of technology stack and impact on final product.Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, curious, highly motivated, and effective within distributed teams.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously.Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives.Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with an effective attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders at all levels.Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel.Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers.Notes: The salary range for this position is $127,900-$213,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
