We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Benefit Director to help lead their benefits strategy and programs.Position Overview: We are looking for a Benefit Director to oversee the design, implementation, and administration of our employee benefits programs. As a key member of our Human Resources team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our benefits offerings align with the company's strategic goals and comply with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification and have a strong background in benefits management, compliance, and strategic planning.Key Responsibilities:Benefits Strategy and Planning:Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive benefits strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.Continuously assess the competitive landscape and industry best practices to enhance the benefits program.Compliance and Governance:Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other relevant laws.Oversee the maintenance of accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to benefits programs.Benefits Administration:Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other perks.Collaborate with external benefit providers and brokers to optimize program offerings and costs.Communication and Employee Engagement:Develop and execute communication strategies to educate employees about their benefit options and changes.Monitor employee feedback and satisfaction with benefits and recommend improvements.Vendor Management:Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with benefit vendors, including insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and consultants.Negotiate contracts and ensure the company receives value for its investments.Budget Management:Develop and manage the benefits budget, monitoring costs and trends while ensuring cost-effective benefit offerings.Data Analysis and Reporting:Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and regularly report on the effectiveness and utilization of benefits programs.Employee Assistance Programs (EAP):Oversee and enhance the company's EAP initiatives to support employees' health and well-being.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification is preferred.7 years of progressive experience in benefits administration and management.Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing employee benefits.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in benefits administration software and data analysis tools.Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.If you are a dedicated benefits professional with a track record of successfully designing and managing comprehensive employee benefits programs, we encourage you to apply for this role.
