MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced Excel experience, including Power Query and Power Pivot. Experience should include M formula language and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
  • Ability to normalize data and assemble data in relational data model, while maximizing performance (refresh time, load time, etc.).
  • Experience with developing data visualization dashboards
  • Experience with Business Process Improvements and Change Management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels and functional areas within the organization
  • Training and support of users during process improvement projects
  • Proven experience managing and implementing change, particularly in process improvement
  • Ability to determine and clearly communicate benefits of change in advocacy of process improvements
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Comfortable with autonomy and is self-motivated

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in building interactive data visualization dashboards using Power BI and similar self-service reporting platforms
  • Experience in managing financial data to track and advice on business performance
  • Database experience

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops, tests, and implements interactive data models from a variety of sources
  • Collaborates with leadership and operations to develop, refine, and adjust financial forecasts; prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; supports shift from static reports to dynamic and interactive reports
  • Performs analysis of direct and indirect jobs
  • Manages indirect charge codes and work breakdown structures
  • Monitors and reports deviation of actual financial performance
  • Coordinates financial data between division and corporate office
  • Establishes Key Performance Indicators and monitors progress to assure divisional compliance, corporate satisfaction, and attainment of company commitments and objectives; reports progress and makes recommendations to appropriate levels of management
  • Directly supports compliance and financial/analytical audits through analysis, explanations and document gathering
  • Establishes budgets and monitors project performance, project status reporting, documentation, and pricing for proposals
  • Employs strong math skills to compute ratios and calculate averages; prepares and reviews charts, spend plans, accounting records, graphs and reports
  • Follows administrative, confidential, and sensitive data guidelines in maintaining the security of company proprietary information
  • Implements and supports tools and reporting for planning, forecasting, monitoring and decision support
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports information that is predictive and actionable
  • Collaborates with Operations, Management, IT, and/or Finance/Accounting team members to identify Business Process Improvement
  • Conducts thorough process assessments to identify areas of improvement, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks in existing workflows
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their business goals, requirements, and challenges
  • Analyzes data, gathers information, and documents current processes, including inputs, outputs, tasks, and dependencies
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements, including process re-engineering and automation
  • Defines and documents standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and best practices to streamline workflows
  • Conducts training sessions and workshops to educate employees on optimized processes and tools
  • Works with departmental subject matter experts, managers, and executives to develop, document, and present current and future state workflows
  • Leads process improvement initiatives, including project planning, execution, and tracking of results
  • Proactively researches, learns, and applies new technology and/or methods to solve and implement for complex business issues and projects
  • Provides fact-driven root cause analysis
