Registered Nurse RN - PACU - FT Days with Call - Full-time / Part-time

Fauquier Health is seeking a dynamic RN to join it's Pre-Operative PACU Team! 

• Monthly Call Required
• Must have previous Pre-Op/PACU experience 
• Must have at least 2 years of RN experience

The Registered Nurse provides and directs clinically appropriate patient care to an individual or group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and mission of the Department of Nursing, the organization, and the scope and standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA).

Fauquier Health is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much, much more. Minimum Education
□ Bachelor’s degree X Preferred □ Required

Required Skills
Licenses: Current Virginia State RN License
Certifications:
X Basic Life Support (BLS, can be obtained week of orientation)
X Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (New Hires have 30 days to obtain, new grads have 6 months to obtain)
X Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (New Hires have 30 days to obtain, new grads have 6 months to obtain).

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience
Required for PACU: 2 years of nursing experience. Preferred for PACU: ICU, ED, and/or PACU experience
