Position Summary:

Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.

Reports to: Director of Pharmacy

Responsibilities of the Position

  • Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
  • Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
  • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackages bulk medications.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.
Graduate of a Pharmacy Tech Program
Licenses/Certification: Pharmacy Tech certification completed and valid with in 12 months of date of hire.
Required Skills
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
