Redgrave LLP is looking for attorneys who are actively licensed and in good standing in Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, or Washington DC and who desire an engaging work environment where you are valued and respected. We offer above-market pay rates with the opportunity to increase compensation through performance-based measure, leverage demonstrated skills in specialized areas of information and discovery management, and, over time, eligibility to join Redgrave LLP’s elite Chambers Band 1 team as an attorney on a partnership track. This is a unique opportunity for accomplished attorneys to work in a remote, hourly capacity on sophisticated matters, primarily performing second-level review and quality control on high volumes of complex litigation documents to ensure all work product and client deliverables are accurate, complete, and of the highest quality.

Expected Start Date: Varied

Estimated Duration: Varied; opportunities from one week to several months

Required Hours: Flexible scheduling

Minimum Starting Pay Rate: $45.00 per client billable hour; $30 per non-billable hour, with stepped increases based on performance

Employees who surpass 1,000 hours during a calendar year and 11 months of employment (cumulative) will automatically receive a 3% vested contribution to their 401(k)

Position Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leads to learn about client needs and key areas of focus

• Assist in investigations as well as complex document reviews using a variety of online review tools, including Relativity

• Review, code, and redact for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege

• Identify key information and effectively communicate findings

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record in quality control and privilege review with a legal services provider or law firm

• Privilege log review experience preferred

• Experience drafting and quality checking privilege log entries a plus

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise discretion

• Technical proficiency working in electronic document review platforms, preferably Relativity

• Technically savvy with advanced working knowledge of MS Office applications

• Superb attention to detail and the ability to ramp-up quickly in new environments and with new teams

• Ability to balance competing responsibilities and manage deadlines proactively

• Must clear RLLP’s client conflicts and criminal background check, as well as any potential client-specific requirements for document handling
