Salary:

The Cloud Solutions Architect will help innovate Brightline’s new and growing product ecosystem that leverages groundbreaking spatial computing and AI capabilities. As a Cloud Solutions Architect specializing in Spatial Computing, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and services to support the development and deployment of immersive spatial computing experiences. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and resilient cloud solutions that enable seamless content delivery, real-time data processing, and immersive user interactions.


This person should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 4+ years experience in cloud computing technologies and should have a passion for product development. This role will communicate daily with the CTO and EVP, Products and will work on a team of 6-8 fellow developers. 


Technology Capabilities and Experience

This person will have experience developing within the following simulation frameworks:

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms and services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a focus on compute, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Experience architecting and deploying cloud solutions for real-time data processing, content delivery, and interactive applications, preferably in the spatial computing or gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, including microservices, serverless computing, containers, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Understanding and focus on cloud cost analysis and on-demand scaling
  • Knowledge of spatial computing platforms and technologies, such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), and their integration with cloud services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management tools.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks.

 

Nice to have: 

  • Understanding of NVIDIA Omniverse (Kit Extensions, RTX, Microservices, Python, C++)
  • Experience with render streaming and cloud GPU VMs
  • Understanding of Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD) (specifically Asset Resolver and cloud services)
