We’re looking for a Cabling Technician that we can train to install network infrastructure and hardware. Our team is ready to mentor and train you, and you’ll spend your time traveling with them to perform installations at client locations.

We’ll provide:
- A guaranteed starting salary of $27/hr with ability to scale to $37/hr with BICSI certifications

What You’ll Do:
- Structured cable installation - pathway identification, pathway preparation, cable rough-in, cable termination, labelling, certification testing and documentation for structured cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and fiber optics
- Operate power hand tools and equipment, operate a platform and or boom lift, and carry and climb ladders
- Install fire rated wall/floor penetrations and firestop, floor racks, wall cabinets, J-hooks, cable tray, raceway, access points, IP cameras and music/page speakers and other technology equipment
- Read and interpret floor plans, drawings and equipment specifications
- Learn and apply applicable codes, standards and industry best practices
- Teamwork with other installers to efficiently complete a variety of projects
Position Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and work days, nights, and weekends as projects may require
- Professionalism, strong positive mentality, and strong willingness to learn
- Attention to quality, detail, and safe work practices and policies
- Must be able to distinguish cable color codes
- Willing to obtain BICSI Installer Level 1 and Level 2 certifications within pre-determined time frame
