Director, Building Innovations - Mid‐Atlantic/Southeast U.S. Consultative Sales | Business Development

Come join a team of professionals and become an indispensable resource and consultant to prominent developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and concrete producers to offer innovative and economical concrete building solutions for concrete buildings.

Work to enhance the knowledge of cast‐in‐place concrete building systems for both multi‐family residential and non‐residential applications.

The successful candidate will be a person that enjoys identifying, meeting, and engaging with key developers who build residential and non‐residential buildings.

Use your strong analytical skills and technical knowledge to work with developers to determine which types of concrete system is best suited for the building type and location.

Leverage the robust construction market in the mid‐Atlantic and southeast U.S. to host informative roundtable education discussions and deliver training for architects and engineers on the optimal concrete systems.

Showcase your partnership skills by connecting with our in‐house design resources to recommend innovative and economical concrete building systems that includes structural and envelope design recommendations including first cost, energy cost, life cycle cost and sustainable concrete solutions.

Be a problem solver by identifying obstacles to concrete construction (cost, construction schedule, labor pool, etc.) and propose solutions to decision makers to eliminate or reduce those obstacles.

Performance is measured on the number of projects converted or retained as concrete through consultative support provided to decision makers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor'sdegreeincivilengineering(structural)preferred
  • Otherrelatedfieldsuchasarchitectureandconstructionmanagementwillbeconsidered
  • Fiveyears'experiencedirectlyrelatedtobuildingdesignandconstruction
  • Experienceworkinginaclient‐orcustomer‐facingrole
  • Experiencewithbuildingsystemsincludingconcrete,masonry,steel,andwoodaplus
  • Knowledgeofbuildinganddesigncodes,lifecycleassessmentandsustainability
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
