Job Title: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

Department: Accounting

Reports To: Controller

Rate of Pay: $20.00-$22.00 /hour

Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Monday through Friday

Full time position, year round

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly



SUMMARY

Maintain all information for accounts payable vendors including coding of invoices, posting of invoices, payment of invoices, and other duties as assigned. Support other accounting positions in the event of absences.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain invoices through online AP System (AvidXchange), including sending invoices to appropriate workflow and researching discrepancies.

Prepare payable checks.

Work with vendors, Sundance managers, and employees to resolve invoice discrepancies.

Prepare monthly closing for accounts payable.

Maintain W9 information for vendors.

Assist with cash and petty cash reconciliation, and Month End Bank Reconciliations.

Assist as needed and assigned with month end, quarterly and year end closings.

Support recycling program.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate's Degree from a college or university in Accounting or Finance; or two years related experience in accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have strong organizational and phone skills. Must be highly proficient in data entry. Attention to detail and confidentiality required.


TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient in spreadsheet software.
