The National Director of Regenerative Surgical & Burn ensures complete alignment of surgical and burn sales activities among the Regenerative Burn, Trauma and Surgical (RBTS) sales team in close collaboration with the area and regional sales leadership in those Areas / Regions covered.

The Director provides support and expertise across the complete Kerecis organization, ranging from Operating Room Sales to Medical Affairs, Marketing & Products, Finance & Manufacturing and Research & Product Development, with the mission to drive sales of and positioning the GraftGuide, SurgiClose and& SurgiBind brand in assigned Burn Accounts.
The Director provides leadership and best practices for current accounts and helps in the acquisition of new accounts.

In addition to the above job duties (75% of time), the director is responsible for specific burn sales activities (25% of time).This full-time role reports to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO).

Essential Functions: Burn Leadership - 75% of time

  • Own and pursue the assigned region/ area RBTS revenue target focusing on driving a Burn – Surgical SKU strategy in all 140 Burn Accounts
  • Manage the RBTS Scorecard moving reds to green
  • Lead the RDs bi-weekly RBTS meetings (per CSO/Area Director leadership direction); update priority list, review RBTS scorecard and manage reds to green, manage key lead opportunities on pipedrive and track lead conversion metrics in Pipedrive
  • Distribute a bi-weekly Burn Priority List to the company’s C-Level staff, area and regional sales leadership and RBTS sales team
  • Assist in Recruiting new RBTS specialists / Directors during the year
  • Analyze sales data of each region to assess where help is needed by RBTS staff members focusing efforts on low burn penetration regions / areas
  • Develop and execute sales campaigns in collaboration with; the CSO, Area Directors and Regional Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, Marketing & Products
  • Own RBTS initiatives driving IDN Burn sales penetration in the top 25 IDNs with Burn Centers in covered geography
  • Work closely with the RBTS team driving Burn penetration leveraging surgical initiatives
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and attend Burn-related meetings and conferences
  • Travel as required to targeted Burn accounts for in-service, education and applications independently or with the local staff
  • Assist low performing regions with assistance developing corrective action plans with the area and regional sales leadership
  • Train and ride with each RBTS specialist who has Burn Centers and low penetration

Job Duties (Joint account management / 25% of time)

  • Assist RBTS sales get deeper penetration in accounts in cases, dinners etc..
  • Receive Commissions on Graft Guide Burn Account Sales Quota Attainment (Grid)
Requirements:

Relevant technical and consultative sales training

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional organization
  • Strong project management and communication and financial analysis skills
  • Superior communication and presentation skills

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 10 years’ related experience in healthcare medical device industry
  • Track record of successfully working within the surgical and burn communities as well as IDNs, GPOs, and other strategic healthcare organizations
  • Strong established relationships with hospitals / surgeons

Travel

  • Anticipated travel: 75%
