Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and control new construction projects through production/administrative direction to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.

Work with field operations to assign workers to construction sites to work on specified projects.

Proactively develop/maintain relationships within the general contractor community.

Ability to read and understand construction documents not limited to Plans/Blueprints, specifications, scope documents etc.

Responsible for training, managing, and motivating the project team, as well as resolving team conflicts.

Managing unforeseen risks and coming up with better solutions, so they do not repeat in the future.

Familiarity with Estimation, Construction Management, and Scheduling Software.

Submit RFI’s to the GC’s if information is missing.

Prepare Submittals, Drawdowns, and Closeout Documents.

Must be detail oriented and strong Organizational Skills

Update Internal Production Report with updated information as needed.

Work and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Competent in handling simultaneous tasks and planning multiple events.

Contributing to Overall Safety, Direction, Completion and Financial outcome of projects.

Maintain positive and effective working relationships with both internal and external members of the Project Team

Develop and negotiate subcontractor and material buyout.

Fill out the Time and material tickets as received and submit them to the GC in a timely manner.

Check the contracts before starting the jobs to transfer useful information to the operations.

Ability to price CO's as per the requests from the GC's

Ability to adapt and work with different subcontractors with various backgrounds.

Attend the weekly subcontractor meetings in person/online and update Operations as needed.

Review the scope of work with Estimator and do precon's with the operations.

Communicate effectively; both in writing and in conversation.

Interact with existing clients and potential clients to identify and pursue potential work.

Go through the Addendums and Bulletins by pricing them and get the updated information to Operations Team

Order Paint, Wall Covering, Wall Protection and Corner Guards as needed.

Work with the accounting department to bill the projects accurately and in a timely manner.

Identify the Change Orders as revisions come in and submit the CO pricing to the General Contractor


This job requires good organizational skills, math skills, interpersonal skills and close attention to detail and basic to intermediate to knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Suites (Word, Outlook, Excel). Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and as a team is important to be successful in this position.
