Responsibilities

The Mobile LPN contributes to AHF’s mission by providing friendly, informative, fast-paced services to patients in our Mobile Testing Unit. The Mobile LPN performs venipuncture/capillary puncture procedures and provides instructions to patients pertaining to self-administered specimen collection. Within the duties, the LPN, is responsible for satisfactory patient/customer service by monitoring patient timelines, evaluating and improving the quality of patient care, as well as, documenting services performed for compliance and reporting purposes. The Mobile LPN answers patient questions, maintains confidentiality and creates a rapport that welcomes patients to return to the Mobile Testing Unit. Following OSHA guidelines and proper procedures can help protect the team member and create a safe environment for patients.


AHF values a nursing environment that is collaborative and education is promoted and achieved. By being a team player, through good interpersonal relations and communication with staff, the LPN will enhance care with a patient centered approach. In addition, providing feedback to management about how service could be improved will allow the team member to enhance their contribution.


The Mobile LPN collaborates with team and adds consistant value by adapting to a fast pace environment with ease and by being flexible.
