Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. In lieu of a degree, with at least five (5) years of directly related operational experience may be a substitute.
- Applicant will require a minimum of 5 years in either designing, installing, maintaining and/or repairing multiple industrial systems (mechanical, electrical, and/or controls, etc.)
- Have a working knowledge of cooling, heating, ventilation, industrial water, wastewater, power, inert gas, compressed/instrument air, hydraulic, and/or fuel systems.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicant will be required to produce written technical reports, presentations and give briefings to technical and non-technical personnel.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Supported an engineering or utility department for an installation, facility or vessel (i.e. ship’s engine room).
- Supported nuclear, chemical, petrochemical or manufacturing facility(s).
- Experience in plant operations and processing operations to include process startup, operations and safety.
Other Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
- Travel: Up to 10% travel required and the ability to travel on short notice
