Responsibilities:
- Follow and teach according to the curriculum
- Create lesson plans
- Encourage the development of students critical thinking and hands on skills
- Prepare any necessary learning materials
- Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a cohesive and seamless learning environment
- Report and document student's progress
- Virtual and in person teaching
- Cosmetology Operator license required
- Cosmetology teaching experience of at least one year
- Proficient in computer use including email, word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
