Non-Destructive Tester - Full-time / Part-time

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a prominent aerospace company in Everett, WA to find a Non-Destructive Tester to fill an immediate opening.

Join a team that is at the forefront of innovation and excellence in the aerospace industry! This is a fulltime, permanent position with day shift hours. Starting pay is $18 - $21 per hour plus a great benefits package.

As a Non-Destructive Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of aerospace components. This position involves conducting non-destructive tests (NDT) tests using specific techniques, participating in the scheduling process to meet manufacturing needs, and ensuring that quality standards are consistently met. The role includes the use of an x-ray machine and two different dye machines to identify imperfections in the metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand products, equipment setup, and NDT operations.
• Follow specific operating procedures and adhere to safety codes and specifications.
• Interpret and evaluate test results.
• Follow additional instructions as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Sufficient experience that ensures performance of certified duties.
• Education: Certification in NDT is preferred, but candidates without certification can obtain it while on the job.
• Footwear: HARD TOE SHOE OR BOOT required.

Key Skills:

• Understanding of product manufacturing, basic theories, and NDT methods.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing inspections.

Additional Information:

• The role involves working with an x-ray machine and dye machines to detect imperfections in aerospace components. The dye machines color parts for visual inspection,
• while x-rays are used to identify cracks and imperfections in metal.
