Heavy Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Express Employment Professionals in Everett is hiring an Heavy Assembler for a company in the greater Monroe, WA area. This is a direct hire opportunity offering fulltime, day shift hours Monday - Friday.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing repetitive, short-cycle mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly following prescribed routines or assembly methods.

Job Duties: 

• Run schedules and understand decipher part numbers.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Meet defined production expectations and adhere to the schedule.
• Read and recognize assembly parts and subcomponents by size for proper application.
• Package and label products, and perform computer transactions.
• Meet company work schedule and attendance expectations, performing within the physical and environmental demands of the job.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

• Alert Lead or Assistant Supervisor to material shortages, quality, safety, or personnel issues.
• Pull materials for assembly and organize materials.
• Replenish parts bins.
• Participate in process improvement events as directed.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ months of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Understanding of oral and written instructions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective reading and writing abilities.
• Basic math & computer skills.
• Proficient in using and reading a tape measure.
• Ability to use small tools and equipment.
