Deburr / Finishing Grinder

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking Deburr / Finishing Grinders for a fantastic company in Marysville, WA. These are fulltime, permanent positions with two shifts available:

DAYS: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

OR

SWING: Noon – 4:30 a.m.

The Deburr / Finishing Grinders play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of finished industrial products. This position involves close attention to detail, the use of small tools, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the foundry business. They main goal is to inspect metal pieces and remove ragged edges and protrusions to produce a quality, smooth surface. Pay is $19 - $21 per hour, DOE, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read traveler for instructions regarding finishing processes.
• Inspect specific parts for quality and accuracy.
• Apply abrasive substances to achieve desired finishes.
•  Polish, sand, and grind pieces to meet product specifications.
• Operate power tools efficiently and safely.
• Participate in the scheduling system to meet manufacturing needs.
• Provide preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety guidelines established by the company, including the proper use of safety equipment and adherence to relevant safety procedures.
• Follow additional instructions as assigned to contribute to the overall production process.

Qualifications:

• Great attendance record and punctuality.
• Focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Good eyesight for detailed inspection work.
• Knowledge of small tools and their applications.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to adapt to different finishing techniques and requirements.
• Must have hard-toed shoes or boot prior to start
