Maintenance Mechanic

Express Employment Professionals in Everett is hiring a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join a production company in Everett, WA. This is a direct hire opportunity offering fulltime, day shift hours with a pay range of $28 - $36 per hour (depending on experience), plus benefits!

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for helping in the seamless operation and maintenance of all equipment. In this critical role, you will play a key part in upholding product quality, employee safety, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Areas of responsibility encompass a diverse range, including Plant equipment, Production lines, Prep Areas, Storage facilities, Chillers, Kitchen Ventilation, Fire and Safety Systems, Buildings and Grounds, CIP, and Bulk Chemicals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
• Execute scheduled Preventative Maintenance Tasks as assigned.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and conduct inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Keep Maintenance Shop, Electrical Room, Parts Room, and Production Floor clean and organized.
• Install new equipment and relocate existing machinery.
• Plan work effectively by organizing job sites, communicating plans to affected personnel, and staging appropriate tools.
• Ensure effective communication between maintenance and operations teams.
• Report compliance issues.
• Collaborate with QA, Safety, and other departments to execute action plans related to health/safety compliance.
• Undertake other assigned maintenance tasks.

What we're looking for:

• Preferred 7+ years of maintenance experience with advanced troubleshooting abilities.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Reading proficiency in electrical and mechanical plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, CMMS, and Control Systems.
• Ability to obtain forklift/scissor lift/and boom lift certification.
• Basic tool set required (combo wrenches, screwdrivers, basic socket set, channel locks, adjustable wrenches, etc.).

Additional skills such as fabrication experience, tig welding, vibrational analysis, PLC/Control experience are a plus!
