DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will assist mechanics in carrying out minor mechanical repairs on both light and heavy-duty vehicles, including tasks such as lube, oil changes, repairing lights, and tire mounting. Additionally, you will be responsible for general building maintenance, which includes cleaning restrooms, offices, conference rooms, lunchrooms, foyers, and garage areas. This will also involve tasks like trash collection, dusting furniture and fixtures, sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, and washing windows. Furthermore, you will be expected to perform general yard maintenance, ensuring the yard is clean and organized, cutting grass and weeds, removing snow from sidewalks and parking areas, and maintaining the scrap tires area.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours vary from summer hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or winter hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Overtime as required
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • No minimum experience and training required.

Special Requirements:
  • This position requires an active non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C driver's license or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):
  • Experience with motorized hand equipment such as chain saws, compressors, jack hammers, tampers, hand mowers and trimmers, routers, patching machines and heating kettles is preferred but not required.
