US Chemical Storage, LLC designs and manufacturers safe, compliant prefabricated chemical storage buildings customizable for applications in many industries. We provide best in class quality solutions for hazmat and chemical storage needs. US Chemical Storage is seeking a Sales Representative. The goal is to collaborate with customers in the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting chemical storage buildings.

General Summary

A Sales Representative is responsible for using their knowledge of company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales revenue. The duties include consulting with new and existing clients to provide solutions that exactly meet their needs. This may require making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining CRM documentation of their sales activities such as quotations, follow ups, invoices or client information. US Chemical Storage, LLC is seeking an individual that is assertive, ambitious, creative and forward thinking. This person would understand the importance of the value proposition of all product and services USCS provides to enhance the customers knowledge for key account development.

US Chemical Storage, LLC manufacturers code and compliant Custom Chemical Storage Buildings for Safe storage of all types of chemicals which also includes Mixing and Dispensing Buildings, Warming Buildings, Custom Refrigeration Buildings and Lithium-ion Battery Charging and Storage Buildings. US Chemical Storage also has a product line for Explosive Storage Magazines and Dayboxes that are designed to an ATF spec for the safe storage, transportation and theft deterrent of explosives that are used in military, SWAT and law enforcement agencies. All of these products are sold for commercial and government applications globally.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of a USCS Sales Representative requires the ability to network, build relationships with clients and persuade others to purchase products. There is a wide variety of duties in this position, including:

  • Be extremely knowledgeable about the product.
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  • Answer questions about the products.
  • Negotiate prices and terms (within limits) and prepare sales quotes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors of the business: especially within the Engineering and Production department.
  • Maintain contact list and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
  • Upkeep of all documentation in Salesforce for the appropriate flow of information.
  • At times: assist Accounts Payable with the collection for deposits on new orders and progress payments on outstanding balances.
  • Achieve sales targets set for the month/year.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the industry.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • 10+ years of sales experience.
  • Construction Knowledge and Occupancy Rating of Modular Buildings.
  • Knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, NEC, FM Global, Warnock Hersey, Intertek and UL Guidelines are a Plus!
  • Chemical classifications in regard to Safe Storage, Mixing and Dispensing.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

  • Very strong organizational skills, attention-to-detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment efficiently and effectively.
  • Display follow-through on all tasks and a readiness to do what it takes, flexibility and willingness to work overtime if necessary, to complete assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Strong initiative and drive, including a willingness to collaborate.


Working Conditions

  • Ability to sit in an office setting up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to work remotely if needed.
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
