DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Your primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the evaluation, examination, and enhancement of maintenance operations in Bucks County, in accordance with management objectives and department policies and procedures. You will assess work plans to guarantee a well-rounded program and the availability of labor, materials, equipment, and funds necessary for completion. Adjustments to work plans will be made as needed. Data from the Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) Plant Maintenance and Roadway Management Systems will be assessed and analyzed to ensure program objectives are achieved and system control is maintained. The accuracy of foreman payrolls will be reviewed, and support for payroll will be provided. Reports will be utilized to monitor work data, such as completed production units, man-hours utilized, equipment usage, and material consumption, and any discrepancies will be resolved to meet work plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Summer work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or
  • One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
  • An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
