- Overseeing 10 sorters, 5-7 assembling boxing line, 2-3 on the palletizer.
- Ability to speak English/Spanish
- Be open to having a flexible schedule
- Managed forklift driver and managed front-end/offload truckers
- Check-in UPS and USPS.
- 1 Semi-truck a day
- Big hands
- BG and DT are required
- Start May 12th- seasonal.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Cherry Packing and Shipping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cherry packing line and shipping department. This vital role ensures the seamless operation and efficiency of our packing and shipping processes, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of our Cherry Packing/Shipping Operations Manager and closely collaborate with the Assistant to the Cherry Operations Manager to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking to hire for a Cherry Packing and Shipping Supervisor
- Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the cherry packing and shipping processes, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently while meeting all quality and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Direct and support the packing and shipping team, providing training, feedback, and motivation to ensure high performance and development.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts for moving and organizing inventory and shipments within the facility.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the operations manager to implement process improvements for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality through the packing process, taking corrective actions as needed to meet quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels of packing supplies and finished goods to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Assistant to the Cherry Operations Manager to coordinate logistics, supply needs, and customer order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- GED or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in cherry-packing operations, with a strong understanding of packing and shipping processes.
- Certified or able to be certified in forklift operation.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under the Cherry Packing/Shipping Operations Manager and integrate efforts with the Assistant to the Cherry Operations Manager.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including long hours up to 12 during the cherry harvest season.
