Maintenance Tech Welder

PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – WELDER/FABRICATOR LOCATION: Valencia, CA PAY: $28 - $30 per hour WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Performs repairs in accordance with safety rules and OSHA requirements. Performs all plant Fabrication needs including Injection Molding Tools. Performs preventative maintenance inspection (PM); diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including injection machinery, hydraulic power packs, diverters, compressors, trash compactors, motors, fans, pumps, forklifts, material loaders, and building equipment. Maintains DEI (Daily Equipment Inspections) backlog. Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and advises plant maintenance manager if additional work is needed or cannot be completed with the Standard Repair Times (SRTs). Recommends measures to improve production, equipment performance, and product quality. Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns. Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Other special duties as assigned.
