Position summary:

Junior analyst role will be primarily responsible for maintaining data quality of security and issuer master information (fixed income and equity) in a production environment via an Enterprise Data Management tool.

The position will provide exposure to all aspects in the life cycle of a security including but not limited to trading, new issue set up, quality ratings, portfolio compliance, corporate actions, and pricing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors' Degree in Finance, Business or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in a data management role
  • Knowledge of Excel and SQL Query writing skills desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work load
  • Analytical mindset with problem solving, research, and follow up skills
  • Knowledge of finance/accounting data and systems
  • Strong interest in data and investment management
  • Strong organizational, and written communications skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, flexibility, and setting priorities
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
