Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. As a Concrete Finisher, you will have a proven safety record, a history of being a team player, must have the initiative to be able to work without direct supervision.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Build and set curb, sidewalk, and other flatwork forms
• Place, finish, protect and repair concrete
• Smooth and finish poured concrete (curbs, sidewalks, etc.) using tools to include floats, trowels and screeds
• Spread concrete to specified depth and consistency
• Molding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging tools
• Load, transport and unload tools, equipment and supplies required for each project
• Use various tools to ensure the satisfactory completion of finished concrete.

Essential Experience and Skills:

• Experience with safe worksite practices and worksite cleanup required.
• Good attendance and punctuality a must.
• Must have the initiative to be able to work without direct supervisor and be a team player.
• Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather.
• Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, and lift
• Reading of plan sets and survey stakes a plus
• Must be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours may vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Prior concrete finishing work experience

Conditions of Employment:

Work Environment:

• Role operations primarily in environments where the conditions include inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
