Job Title:
Junior HR Generalist

Overview of Company:
Our client is seeking a Junior HR Generalist to assist in coordinating the recruiting process, implementing sourcing strategies, completing professional reference checks, facilitating onboarding tasks, maintaining employee profiles, and responding to employment-related inquiries. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the recruiting process by promoting open job positions, sourcing and screening potential candidates, and scheduling interviews
  • Implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants
  • Complete professional reference checks, employer verification, and background checks for potential candidates
  • Facilitate the completion of new hire packets, scanning/filing of documents for employee personnel files, and other HR-related onboarding tasks
  • Maintain employee profiles updated to ensure compliance with relevant documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
  • 1+ years of previous work experience in HR administration or similar position
  • Relevant HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
