Position: Quality Inspector

HL Uriman Inc. supply tire/wheel assemblies to an OEM. As part of the HL Group, our goal is 100% customer satisfaction with best in quality and service.

This position requires (non-exempt, hourly) schedule flexibility and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

General Responsibilities but not limited to:
 Establish strong and professional working relationships with Supervisors, Operators, and Production Coordinators.
 Inspects and verifies assemblies through tire/wheel disassembly and maintaining defect report.
 Manages inventory of defective parts.
 Addresses top defects to investigate.
 Participates in Continuous Improvement Projects.
 Provides investigation support to Quality Engineers as needed.
 Detail oriented and able to quickly perform designated inspections and provide accurate judgment.
 Participates in internal and/or external root cause investigations.

Working Schedule 3:00 pm to 11:30 am.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
 6+ months of experience in Production, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance, preferably in a high tech or automotive environment.
 Self-motivated, flexible, problem-solving skills, ability to handle multiple priorities.
 Able to obtain forklift certification.
 Able to complete shift reports daily.
 Able to read and write in English.
 Must be able to be on your feet for an eight (8) hour shift.
 Must be able to lift 50 lb.
 Must be able to bend over and partially squat at least twenty (20) times per shift.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

 Quality inspection experience.
 WMS/ERP and Excel skills.
 Bilingual
