In the capacity of an Outside Sales Representative, your primary focus is on marketing and promoting the products and services, with the ultimate goal of generating profitable sales from both existing and prospective customers.

 

Client Engagement: You will conduct regular face-to-face sales visits to customer sites, establishing a strong and personal connection.

- Business Expansion: Actively seek out new business opportunities, continuously expanding our customer base.

- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain robust customer relationships that drive profitable sales growth over time.

- Market Awareness: Stay abreast of current and emerging products and technologies relevant to our industry.

- Product Introduction: Introduce and demonstrate new products to your assigned customer accounts, showcasing their value and benefits.

- Quotation Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up on all generated quotations, guaranteeing that customers receive the service they need and documenting the results of proposed solutions.

- Sales Orders: Generate sales orders that contribute to the company's profitability.

- Market Insights: Report competitive market conditions and customer feedback to our management team to help refine our strategies.

- Supplier Collaboration: Maintain ethical and productive relationships with our manufacturers, collaborating with qualified suppliers to explore mutual business opportunities.

- Product Knowledge: Participate in product training sessions to enhance your knowledge and expertise in our products, enabling you to better serve customer needs.

- Team Collaboration: Develop and nurture effective working relationships with colleagues such as Inside Sales Associates, Counter Sales Associates, and support staff. Encourage and assist in their training and growth.

Qualifications

1. Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record: Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate a history of safe and responsible driving.

2. Proven Outside Sales Experience: A track record of successful experience in outside sales is essential, with familiarity in Electrical Distribution and Manufacturing sectors.

3. Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in essential software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a requirement for this role.

- 3 years of relevant sales experience.

- 3 years of industry experience.

- High school diploma required.

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution preferred.

- Equivalent combined education and on-the-job experience.
