Summary Description:

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Social Media Specialist/Digital Marketing Specialist/Data Analytics to join our marketing communications team. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing digital marketing campaigns, and analyzing data to optimize marketing performance. The ideal candidate should have a passion for social media, digital marketing, and data analytics, with experience in the substance abuse and mental health field.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in social media management, digital marketing, or data analytics.
  • Experience in the substance abuse and mental health field, with a preference for candidates who have worked with federal agencies or organizations.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and reach the target audience.
  • Create and curate compelling content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Manage and monitor social media accounts, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and paid advertising.
  • Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the marketing team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for growth.

Examples of Relevant Employment History and Accomplishments:

  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and growing engagement and followers.
  • Experience in data analytics, interpreting marketing metrics, and generating actionable insights.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media management tools, digital marketing platforms, and data analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, best practices, and algorithms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.

Examples of Relevant Marketing Communication Services Initiatives, Programs, Projects, and Campaigns:

  • Executing social media campaigns to promote substance abuse prevention and mental health awareness.
  • Developing targeted digital marketing campaigns to reach diverse audiences.

  • Knowledge of substance abuse prevention and mental health topics to inform social media and digital marketing strategies.

  • Experience tailoring social media content and marketing messages to different audience segments.
  • Ability to leverage data insights to optimize campaigns for diverse audiences.
