JOB SUMMARY:  

Support the camp experience for guests through providing excellent customer service through preparation and sales of food and beverage as well as merchandise. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of coffee shop, food venues and retail shops. Seasonal from May 1st-Sept 30th


JOB STATUS:  Non-Exempt


JOB DETAILS:

We are currently hiring and scheduling shifts for this role.  No experience is needed and we start hiring at 16 years old. Start Dates and End dates are both flexible.  Our Retail is open year round.  During Summer, we have shifts available from 6am to 11pm daily.  Starting in October, all shifts are during weekends.  Starting Pay is $16.00 an hour for cashiers.  Flexibility for school schedules as well as summer vacations.  Once you apply, your application will be reviewed in 48 hours and we will email you with next steps.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a high level of courteous customer service to all guests
  • Cashier: Operate the Point of Sale system
  • Assist in inventory counts
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures
  • Demonstrate customer service: Smile and say “Hello”, Talk to customers, Ask open-ended questions, Recommend multiple products, Smile and Say “Thank you”
  • Maintain a current Food Handlers Card from San Bernardino County (Forest Home will provide all training and pay all fees)
  • Uphold all food-handling guidelines as well as high standards of cleanliness & organization at all times
  • Supports and participate in staff spiritual life activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Flexible schedule able to work weekends, nights and holidays as assigned

 

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  •  At least 16 years old
  • No other experience needed, all training provided
  • Must obtain food handlers card
