CNC Machinist – Roscoe, IL
Our customer in Roscoe, Illinois is looking for talented individuals to join their world-class manufacturing family. As a CNC Machinist, you will primarily be responsible for run quality parts through high volume department by loading and unloading parts from machinery and completing other duties including assembly, broaching, and deburring as needed
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:
- Ability to operate machinery in including gear hobbing, gear grinding, turning grinding equipment.
- Ensure parts are properly machined.
- Assemble parts as needed.
- Verify part quantity with the job traveler.
- Make machine adjustments as required to maintain print specifications.
- Load and unload machines as per the cycle time noted on the traveler.
- Study and determine the part tolerances and methods of measurement for each job.
- Record inspection data as required and inspect parts as often as needed to determine the parts are within tolerances.
- Ensure parts are taken to next operation (indicated on job traveler).
- Deburr parts when necessary.
CNC Machinist Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years turning experience.
- Read/write G and M code.
- Familiarity with departmental machine capabilities.
- Basic math and geometry skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift 45lbs.
- Ability to run more than one machine maintaining run times as required.
Pay for CNC Machinist: $15-$32/hour.
CNC Machinist Benefits:

Schedule: 4:15pm-2:45am 4 days/week, with overtime on Fridays.
