RADIOLOGY TECHNICIAN

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The Mobile Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for providing on-site radiographic exams for patients at various locations, including homes, assisted living facilities, and other non-traditional settings. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic techniques and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic exams using portable x-ray equipment and other diagnostic imaging technology
• Set up and position patients for exams according to established protocols
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations
• Communicate with patients and caregivers to explain the exam process and answer any questions or concerns
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of exams and patient information
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
• Current state license and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
• Entry Level (1 year experience preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexibility to work at various locations and potentially travel to multiple sites in a single day
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
