Membership base is expanding and for the coming year the organization is focused on growing its existing 22 chapters as well as opening new chapters. To achieve these objectives, we will be bringing on a motivated Strategic Relationship Membership Director Job to drive our growth efforts.

In this strategic relationship membership growth role you will be responsible for delivering the organizations membership growth target year over year, which includes recruiting and converting potential members; following up with prospective members sourced through our members and events; working with the leadership team to identify potential chapter leaders; creating new revenue opportunities through partnerships; affiliations, and Sponsorships where appropriate. This position is an integral leadership position in scaling our membership and helping the organization become the leading and most desired B2B peer group in the United States

What You'll Do:

    • Drive the membership growth objectives and revenue targets for 2024 and beyond through developing a pipeline of prospective members, sponsors and partners.
    • Engage with prospective members in person, over the phone, via email and/or text; build trust of potential members by showing genuine interest in helping them build their network; understand potential members' business, and show how our membership can be valuable in growing their network; convey the value of the our membership efficiently and handle potential objections; convert qualified prospects to members
    • Support and help grow sponsorship program in collaboration with the Events and Sponsorship Committee, our Executive team and then drive a pipeline of prospective sponsors; communicate the value of sponsorship and convert prospects into paid sponsors working in collaboration with the sponsorship committee.
    • Support and help grow partner affiliations program in collaboration with the Events and Sponsorship Committee, our Executive Team and then drive a pipeline of partner prospects that will be mutually beneficial in growing the membership base.
    • Collaborate with our Executive Team; Ambassador Committee, Marketing team, Events and Sponsorship Committee, Chief Revenue officer; Member Experience Team; Chapter Presidents and local leadership teams; as well as our stakeholders to achieve membership and revenue objectives.
    • Work closely with the chapter leadership to understand critical seat needs and develop a prospective member process to ensure all prospects are moving through the pipeline to achieve the growth goals for us and by each chapter.
    • Achieve membership growth and sponsorship/partnership/affiliate activities with our growth goals.
    • Attend networking events locally and nationwide that have potential members, sponsors and partners.

· Provide feedback to our Experience team on how the chapters guest experience is being perceived and what needs to be improved.

    • Maintain the Client Relationship Management system and use it as a tool to develop a pipeline of prospective members, sponsors and partners; and review weekly dashboard and scorecard with leadership.
    • Attend weekly membership and revenue me meetings; virtual or in person with our executive team.
    • Manage and adhere to the membership and revenue budget.
    • Ability to travel locally and nationwide.
    • Additional responsibilities as identified to ensure growth goals are achieved.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a full-time remote position.

Computer: You need to provide your own laptop or desktop with the ability to conduct Zoom meetings

Transportation: You must have the ability to get to and from in person networking events

Association/servant lead organization/not-for-profit experience preferred, but not required.
