Position Summary Description
Supports the Communications team at Seminole Electric Cooperative and its member distribution cooperatives. Responsible for graphic design projects including the employee newsletter, flyers, Seminole graphics and charts, maps, and Seminole’s annual review document.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate degree at an accredited 4 year College or University
Junior, Senior, or Graduate student status by arrival date. Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations major with an interest in pursuing a content creator, graphic design related career. Co-op students are expected to be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours per semester, maintain a 2.75 GPA, and work approximately 20 hours a week.

Essential Functions
- Assists and supports the graphic design needs for the Communications team, including but not limited to the employee newsletter, flyers, Seminole graphics and charts, Seminole SAFE campaign designs, maps, and Seminole’s annual review document.
- Maintains an up-to-date digital library, including logos, graphics, and presentations.
- Maintains proficiency in the latest software to design effective communications materials and graphics. Uses various resources, such as social media, to analyze and execute communications.
- Helps facilitate internal communications and activities that support Seminole’s Purpose.
- Performs other duties as applicable to the position or as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to follow established protective measures including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
Working Conditions
Some travel, overtime, and weekend work. While working in certain areas of the plant there is the potential for exposure to hazards typical of an industrial working environment. This position will require contact with Seminole’s member cooperatives and representation of Seminole before cooperative-related groups.
