Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or two coursework equivalents in Computer Science, Information Technology or Networking
  • 4 years experience minimum in IT helpdesk and networking
  • Knowledge in computer hardware and software
  • Experience working with Windows and Mac OSX
  • Application support experience
  • Great Communication Skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Accurate data entry and tracking for customer billing and reporting
  • Knowledge of computer networking and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft 365 application helpdesk experience
  • Experience in Windows server administartion is a plus

Job Summary:

This position is 8am – 5pm Monday-Friday. Helps customers with their Technology needs. This may be with hardware, such as desktop computers, printers, scanners, servers or handheld devices or it may be with software programs. Track all instances of support by creating IT tickets using ticket-tracking software. This includes prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. Updates the status of each ticket after successfully assisting each user with their issues. Their assistance may be conducted in person for internal users or on the phone when assisting external users. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostics tools. May occasionally have to help with structured cabling projects.
