Job Description


La Cuisine International in Puerto Rico is looking for a PT Trade Marketing Intern.  The Trade Marketing Intern will report directly to the Territory Manager - Puerto Rico, and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned sales & marketing programs. The primary role of this position is that of the coordination among the LCI Sales and Marketing departments, LCI Sales accounts in PR (dealers), and local sales & marketing vendors/contractors for the execution of product displays, showroom, trade/dealer promotions & events and B2B Marketing initiatives.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Maintain up-to-date, neat, activated displays of LCI appliances at dealers’ showrooms
  • Keep inventory of appliance models, quantities and total investment at dealers’ showrooms
  • Distribution/development of sell sheets, flyers, POP and other sales & marketing materials
  • Coordinate availability of brand/LCI brochures, catalogues and other sales literature at dealers’ showrooms
  • Actively participate in the planning, execution and evaluation of trade/dealer cook-outs, demonstrations, training and educational events
  • Assist in the distribution of high-resolution images, brand/LCI resources and asset library
  • Assistance in digital campaigns, social media platforms and generation/distribution of digital content for LCI sales accounts
  • Ensure compliance of corporate image guidelines.


Skills and Requirements


  • Passionate about cooking and good, healthy living
  • Feeling thrilled, natural, in a high-end, high-touch industry
  • An interest in enhancing or learning sales, marketing and customer service skills
  • Exposure to kitchen planning & design, remodeling, or construction ideal but not required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment, working with a multi-disciplinary team of company colleagues, trade partners, and outside vendors/contractors
  • Effective interpersonal and strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Working on the dealers showrooms and the field for a minimum of 70% of the time, and working from their home the other 30% of the time. 
  • Leadership potential and a competitive edge
  • Must speak/write Spanish and English fluently
  • Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Must currently live in Puerto Rico
