Tommy Gate is on the lookout for dedicated Manufacturing Associates to prepare our liftgates for painting, contributing to the impeccable finish that our customers have come to appreciate. What we offer


  • First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM - Starting hourly rate of $19+/hr (Higher pay for experienced candidates.)

  • Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM, - Starting hourly rate of $21+ (Higher pay for experienced candidates.)

What you’ll be doing


  • Read, interpret, and follow work orders, and other instructions accurately, and communicate with your supervisor to clean and prep liftgates for the paint booth.

  • Smooths surfaces and meticulously removes weld splatter to ensure the optimal condition for the painting process.

  • Thoroughly cleans surfaces before painting by applying grease and dirt remover.

  • Manage and monitor inventory of products at workstations, ensuring availability of necessary components.

  • Conduct thorough quality checks to verify that products meet established quality standards.

  • Identify any product defects and meticulously document them as per company protocols.

  • Adhere to quality standards and established safety procedures throughout all tasks.

  • Maintain work area for cleanliness and organization.

  • Perform other duties as required.



Required Skills:

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, or twist.

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

  • Proficiency in using handheld tools.

  • Attention to detail in carrying out tasks and performing quality checks.

  • Strong documentation skills for accurately recording defects and work performed.

  • Commitment to working according to established quality and safety protocols.
