CSR Billing Coordinator

Bolton Veterinary Hospital is a fast-paced, general and emergency practice with over 20 veterinarians on staff and a support team of over 100! We are proudly privately owned, and have been in operation since 1953.

We are currently looking for dedicated and hardworking client service professionals. Our ideal candidate will have a background in veterinary medicine and/or medical billing and invoicing. Experience with the program Instinct is a huge plus! Attention detail is a MUST in this role.

This position consists of checking invoices/estimates against Instinct treatments to accurately capture all charges, checking for price accuracy and make appropriate corrections, taking payment from clients as needed, meeting daily with veterinarians to go over treatment plans in order to update clients with hospitalization cost and updating estimate daily, call owner to inform of current and anticipated charges. When billing duties are completed this position will default to a general client service position in our hospital.

About this job:

• This is a full time position and will include a weekend day. As we are a 24/7 hospital, working two holidays a year is required for this role (with holiday pay & holiday rates!)
• $19-$28/hour depending on years of experience, technical skills and abilities, licensure/certification status
• 5 days, 7-8 hour shifts

• At least one year of experience in veterinary medicine or medical billing/invoicing
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
• Weekend day and late shift required

Job Type: Looking for full-time open to part-time

Salary: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
