Job Title: Valuation / Transactions Support Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage and work on an array of health care-related business/financial valuation and transaction support projects.
  • Consult on financial arrangements between health care services entities.
  • Actively manage a portfolio of clients in collaboration with team members and under the direction of the Partners.
  • Perform analysis of client data, including, but not limited to, profit and loss information, industry structure and trends, economic factors impacting industry, impact of government and health care regulations.
  • Detailed financial modeling and report writing.
  • Thorough, accurate and timely documentation of all work.
  • Review of all work for analytical validity, accuracy of assumptions and data, and professional appearance / presentation.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and accountability in collaboration with project team members.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with clients and gain the confidence of top-level client personnel with the goal of becoming the client’s trusted business advisor.
  • Remain current on regulatory, business, and economic developments relevant to company’s and clients’ business.
  • Use the latest technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of services provided.
  • Train / mentor / develop staff.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or business / healthcare administration.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst designation, American Society of Appraisers designation, Certified Valuation Analyst designation, or Accredited in Business Valuation designation preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Minimum of 5 years of transactional support experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrating initiative.
  • Excellent analytical, project-management, communication, interpersonal, and team skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple projects and meet ongoing deadlines.
  • Demonstrate effective oral, written and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Committed to staying at the cutting edge of healthcare regulations, financial / valuation best practices and ethical standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skill set (Note: after the initial interview/s, an advanced excel aptitude test will be administered)

Work environment / Other information (Travel required, schedules, etc.)

  • Willingness and ability to travel (20-30%)
  • If not located in the Denver-metro area, Manager will be required to complete training at the Denver office – a total of 3 - 4 weeks over a period of 6 months

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000
