Key Responsibilities
- Expertly manage quarterlies, AP & AR processes, and payroll through Paychex, ensuring a seamless flow of timely and accurate transactions that keep our client’s business thriving.
- Be the go-to for all things financial, from calculating and preparing expense reports to handling P&L reports that empower informed decision-making.
- Keep the financial ship sailing smoothly by regularly reconciling bank and credit card statements, ensuring a clear and transparent financial picture.
- Lead a direct report, providing hands-on guidance and unwavering support to maximize their potential and drive success.
- Stay ahead of the curve by ensuring compliance with the latest accounting standards and maintaining pristine accounting data in QuickBooks.
Key Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Experience with Paychex
- QuickBooks or other Manufacturing Accounting Software
- Proactive, inquisitive, and solution-oriented mindset
Desired, not Required:
- Degree in Business or Accounting preferred
- Experience with system conversions is a plus
- Additional relevant certifications or coursework in accounting.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
