Salary:

Falcon Heating & Air Conditioning has been in business for more than 35 years, specializing in heating and air conditioning, from the designing in new construction to installation and repairs.

 

Our business is constantly growing, and we are looking for someone with field experience to fill our HVAC Foreman position. For more information on this opportunity, please review the job posting information below.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 yrs. experience in HVAC
  • HVAC Foreman experience
  • Basic working knowledge with technology
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Apprentice HVAC License
  • Journeyman HVAC License


Job Functions/Tasks:

  • Communicate with employees and subcontractors to provide job specifications
  • Coordinate with office admin and subcontractors to schedule customer jobs
  • Coordinate and supervise daily activities of assigned team member(s)
  • Ensure subcontractors are performing work to meet Falcon's standards
  • Maintain installation calendar, coordinate crews, and deliveries to ensure a timely install
  • Visit jobs in progress and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepare the jobsite for inspections and walk with inspectors, if needed
  • Respond to emergencies (leaks, damages, and urgent builder concerns)
  • Provide technical expertise and maintain a high level of credibility with the entire company and customers
  • Work with the Production and Design team
  • Clean work area, machines, tools, and supplies
  • Follow company and industry safety guidelines and regulations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Work Environment:

This job operates in a field setting. This role routinely uses standard HVAC hand tools and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, saws, and power saws.

 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

 

  • Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
  • Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite

 

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 pm, based on the employee’s schedule. Must be available to work at minimum 40 hours a week. Working overtime and on weekends will be occasionally required.

 

Travel:

Daily travel is required via driving a company vehicle. Travel with employee’s personal vehicle is an option, with mileage reimbursed at the Falcon’s determined mileage reimbursement rate.
